Replacement Fl/Hvy Metal-Chemical Reduction (MetalChem) Filter for Slimline Style Housings only. This is a threaded filter, and will not fit in the Crown Series housings or Emergency Gravity Units. This filter removes Fluoride, in addition to aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, chromium, iron, lead manganese, mercury, nickel, silver and zinc. The filter also removes chlorine, chloramine, chemicals and trace amounts of pharmaceuticals.
This fiter must be changed every 6 months to ensure maximum contaminant reduction in your drinking water. Pro-longing filter usage could potentially expose you to harmfull contaminants in your water. It is highly recommended not to extend your filter past the recommended replacement schedule.
