This remarkable technology utilizes four stages of advanced filtration to remove harmful contaminants and provide you and your family with clean, great tasting water. The most advanced micro-active carbon is combined with ceramic pre-filtration, heavy metal and ion exchange media to virtually eliminate toxic chemicals to safe levels in your drinking water.
The Ultra-Ceramic filter is cleanable to the life of the filter. This means that you can quickly and easily restore the flow rate of your water filter without damaging or having to replace the entire filter
The Ultra-Ceramic also has a small, non-leachable amount of silver that is baked into the ceramic of the filter. This inhibits further bacteria growth within the filter, a feature that standard pour through carbon pitchers, and carbon blocks do not have. Because of this, the filter can be used for up to 600-1000 gallons of usage without the need for replacement. (results depend on levels of contaminants present in water source)
The Ultra-Ceramic has a much higher flow rate than any other pour through pitcher, giving you instant access to clean water. The flow rate is approximately .75 gallons per minute at 45 psi.
Upgrade to the RF-UCB2 for additional Fluoride & Heavy Metal removal. The RF-UCB2 must be changed every 6 months vs 12 months with the Ultra-Ceramic Filter.
-Sub-Micron Particulate Reduction @ 0.3 Microns
Enhanced Parasite and Bacteria Removal
Reduced Turbidity and Bad Taste
Easy to clean and replace filters
Durable Medical Grade Stainless Steel Housing
Ceramic Filter meets NSF Standard 42
Bacteriostatic to inhibit re-growth of bacteria
THM and HAA Reduction
Filters should be replaced every 6-12 months for maximum contaminant reduction. Cleaning the filter pro-longs the life of the filter and reduces operational costs.

*The ceramic filter was tested at an independent laboratory, ALCONTROL Laboratories in the UK. The filter was challenged with a total of > 60 million E.Coli bacteria.**Tested at Pace Analytical Laboratory to NSF/ANSI ProtocolPending NSF STANDARD 42 LISTING. -The contaminants tested are not necessarily present in all users water. Further, percentage of reduction will vary over the life of the filter based on the level of contaminants found in your water supply. These filters were not intended for use were water is microbiologically unsafe.
